Hi, I’m Joy! I’m on a journey to micro-change my life into one of more health and wellness. As a psychotherapist I frequently encourage my clients to spend more time on self-care; but, like many other health care practitioners, I often find myself falling short. Making healthy life choices is a lot easier said than done.

This blog will chronicle my attempt to apply my own behavioral coaching principles to myself as I journey towards better self-care. I do not know where this journey will lead, but I hope to sustain it through three guiding principles:

  • Being kind to myself
  • Being honest with myself
  • Being courageous to lean into my discomfort

My hope is that this site will also be a resource to others who want to micro-change their lives.  Blessings to you on your journey!
